UA NY Intergroup – Meeting Minutes: May 11, 2019

Treasury Report

- Literature Coordinator was not present; the report was summarized from an electronic copy.
GSR Report
- This position is vacant – the report was tabled.
Elections & Old Business
- GSR Vacancy – Requirements and responsibilities read; election tabled.
- Treasury – Signatory Contacted for transfer of authority, it is noted that PayPal & Chase are synchronized. Further action may be needed in the case of drawing paper checks. It is noted that SMH does not accept electronic payments.
New Business & Continued Operations
- Upcoming Events (2019 Fall Workshop) – – It was established by group conscience that scheduling the workshop later in the afternoon, so as to not conflict with the Sunday NYCUA meeting, will be beneficial for attendance. Topics were selected: A) 6-Figure Earning, b) Top Line/Bottom Line, c) Record Consciousness (Tracking Each UA Tool using Spreadsheets), d) Self Esteem, e) Prayer Formations, f) Non-Monetary Prosperity.
- Literature – Camila stepped down as Literature Coordinator, but will remain ISR for her respective meeting. Orison will start as incoming Literature Coordinator. Physical transfer of literature, along with reimbursement of costs incurred from transport and purchase of literature materials tabled until a separate appointment could be set.
- Website Management – The position of Website Coordinator was further defined to include blogging, tagging, updating website information for ua-ny.org and possibly 9thtradition.org. Transfer of administrative and operations access from Avi to Mark is still pending. Transfer of access for the 9thtradition.org website remains to be determined. The Website Coordinator will also act as a liaison for any GSB website activity.
- Outreach – It was established by group conscience that ISR Appeal Statements ought to be unscripted or improvised while retaining the spirit of the ISR mission statement. The intent is that ascribing emotional sincerity and personal testimony to the purpose of Intergroup is more “sexy”.
To further the goal of outreach and ISR awareness, an outreach committee was established. Avi G., Doug and Matthew all volunteered for this service. Roles and actions will be discussed outside of the regular ISR meeting.
Next Meeting
- The next meeting was scheduled for June 8, 2019, from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm (location TBA).
