Literature Committee Meeting Minutes, November 15, 2015

Minutes

1. Literature Committee working format

• Priorities
  • We will re-prioritize the working efforts of the committee at the December meeting
    • We will determine how many initiatives we can work on at once (expected two or three)
    • We will collectively prioritize the open initiatives
    • All committee members should review the list of possible initiatives – is it complete? – and be prepared to volunteer for a subcommittee
  • Working style (subject to confirmation by the larger committee)
    • We will move the detailed discussion of working drafts on-line, using collaboration software, and use subcommittee calls to resolve issues
    • For the time being, we will make use of Google docs; we will also look at using the collaboration software under review by the GSB
    • Discussion on committee calls will be limited to progress reports and yes/no decisions on whether drafts are ready to move further along the approval process

2. UA Website/Literature Page

• The joint meeting with the GSB is still pending, as are decisions by the GSB on the committee’s proposals.
  • Revised Format For Website Literature Page (Mar 2015)
  • Revised Text For Action Card Sources (Apr 2015)
  • Vision of Earning Wellness & Wholeness (Jun 2015)
• Peter will tidy up the 9th Tradition site to make it clear what the committee is working on.

3. Existing Literature

• “Underearning and Our Thinking”
  • Joshua will upload the document to Google docs. (Later: Peter will assist by removing line numbers.)

4. New Literature

• ProsperiTeam materials
  • The subcommittee has almost finished reviewing/revising the documents for the program-ready (but not final) draft.
• “Spiritual Job Search”
  • On hold
• Accountability Team One Pager
  • Farrah has finished a draft of the one pager, but was unable to circulate it due to computer issues.
• Action Partner Format
  • Peter will assist Shari Lynn in applying the Action Card format, with the intention that this document will form a fourth card rounding out the set (Visions & Goals, Action Meetings, Action Partners)

5. Next Meeting

• The next meeting will be on the third Sunday on the month, December 19, 2015, 7:00-8:00pm Eastern (6:00pm Central, 4:00pm Pacific), on the conference bridge (712) 432-1500 # 706291.
