Service Structure Committee (Clara) Questions will be brought to the GSB to get answered. Next Meeting will be on January 7th at 1:30pm eastern standard time. This committee will meet the fourth Sunday of the month except in times where it meets after the GSB meeting, then it will meet the first Sunday of the month. Contact info is uasscclara@nullgmail.com
Literature Committee : (Clara) ?
Finance Committee: (Lela). The GSB Finance Committee Chair, Leah, has decided she wants to meet only by email. The other member on the committee besides Lela is taking a leave of absence from committee service. Donations by text are on hold. Leah wants to continue working on the financial procedures portion of the UA Service Manual. She wants to continue gathering information from other 12 Step Programs. She will post the committee’s writing on Google Docs.

Phone/Tech Committee: (Debora) Mary Joan, the Interim Tech Chair, gave the Tech report at the GSB’s November meeting. Mary Joan is following up with a person on the Mailchimp program. She has contacted a special worker to do some minor updating on our current website. 3. The Board is looking for a new Calendar Keeper who is a UA member. Contact Mary Joan at carrythismessage@nullgmail.com.The Calendar Keeper operates with the Google Calendar. There is a technical glitch that will sometimes occur with the Google Calendar, so a meeting is deleted. If a meeting is deleted from the UA meeting calendar, contact the Calendar Keeper right away and let her know that the meeting has been deleted. The Calendar Keeper’s email address is: ua12step@nullgmail.com.Debora emailed Mary Joan on December 11th about whether she is accepting new committee members to the Tech Committee and what are the requirements. She has not responded back. If your on a meeting that gets locked up please contact Debora at (323) 371-1039; she is a moderator and has the code that will unlock it.
Old Business.
Motion Regarding Suggested Requirements for the GSR Position
- Is actively working the steps in UA and has completed at least UA’s Steps One through five.
- Has a working knowledge of the UA 12 Traditions, and when approved by the UA World Service Conference, the GSR will have a working knowledge of the UA 12 Concepts of World Service.
- Has demonstrated a consistent commitment of service in UA.
- Has 90 days solvency (solvency being self-defined).
- Will attend GSR Committee monthly meetings on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm Eastern Time
- Will take notes at the GSR Committee meetings, report back to and get feedback from their meeting groups to bring to the GSR Committee.
- Will attend GSB monthly meetings on the 4th Monday of the month from 8 pm to 9 pm Eastern Time and/or read the current meeting minutes.
- Be able to serve a one to two year term.
- Represents a UA meeting that he/she regularly attends.
- Is not already acting as a GSR for another UA meeting group or Intergroup.
- Willing to attend and/or send a GSR alternate to a World Service Conference during their service term.

The GSR Committee Chair and the GSR Committee Secretary have the authority to post the Minutes and Reports on our GSR Committee 9thTradition.org website page.
