January Share-a-Day

  • A speaker, amp and sound engineer are available at a cost of $250.

  • People giving service will be alerted that they will also be asked to give the suggested donation ($10).
  • The next planning committee meeting will be this Wednesday or Thursday.
  • Up to $100 will be provided for scholarships; scholarships must be applied for in advance, and will not be available at the door.
  • The event will include a 7th Tradition break for additional donations.
  • The Share-a-Day flyer will be sent to Andrew D to go on the website (cost $40).

Vision Statement

  • The following paragraph is the official vision statement of UA NY Intergroup:

“New York Intergroup promotes the common welfare of all group members in Underearners Anonymous in the Tri-State area. Our actions aim to provide support by coordinating the exchange of information and resources with groups and with the UA General Service Board, and to inspire fellowship among our members through the planning of events. We are dedicated to work in a spirit of cooperation, mutual respect and consideration of all ideas presented to support unity and recovery. All are welcome to participate in our meetings.”

  • This statement will be published on future copies of the meeting list, read by ISRs at business meetings, and read at the start of UA NY Intergroup meetings.
  • Lisa will draft a suggested donations statement.

Accounts/Spending Plan

  • Lisa will add income (including events, contributions and literature), to make this a cash flow statement, and project expenses and income for four Share-a-Day type events in 2014.
  • The projected budget will include anticipated donations to GSB and WSC, but that will not imply any commitment; as with any expenditures, any donations will be made based on funds available and subject to separate approval by NY Intergroup.
